“Yes indeed”, said Henry Hedgehog, as
he went back to Granny's, “what a day,
what a day, I'm so
tired I could sleep for a week. In fact, I just might, but
first
I need to eat”. He arrived at the big garden table just in
time to hear
Elvis(really Harry) finish his song for Granny.
“Well”, said Granny, “it's nice
to see so
many of you here today, I'd better get some extra food out,
oh
it is lovely to have you all here”, she repeated, “even
Barny Owl
has joined us. I'm so pleased you're here Barny, I
hope we're going to
see a lot more of you, now the Magpies have
settled down again”.
Granny looked around at all the
animals, “you all look very tired, as though
you have
had a busy night”. You don't want to know” ,said Max
shaking his head, “you don't want to know”.
“Believe
me!!!, you don't want to know”, said Caesar,
and all the
other animals agreed.
