*** Worn Hats ***

by 'Barry R. Long'

which is the hat for me today?
black or brown, or shall it be grey?
with this one, I am the coach
discipline being my first approach
this one, means I am the worker
with buddies and mates, and no shirkers
that one over there says I'm the boss
means all the glory, and no buck to toss
should I instead wear no hat at all?
but then I'd get all shy and withdrawn
being grey, brown or black or cap
changes my life, at the drop of a hat
