*** Poem Release ***
*** Kids ***
by 'Barry R. Long'
everywhere I travel I
hear people complain they don't understand, and how their kids
are a pain do not they realise their kids eyes are their
own perhaps if they talked with them instead of just moan true
communication they just might even foster kids might even miss
being on the police arrest roster try to remember being young
and how it felt you never know, could be, they won't need the
belt don't forget a teens life is turned inside out all
mixed up with those extra hormones floating about keeping
integrity while having an open mind an appreciative child with
love they might instead find children need a safe haven on
which to rely think twice before giving them the thumbs down
reply go home, you who complain your kids are a pain and
tell them you still love them and ask them to explain
