*** Not a Simple Kiss ***

by 'Barry R. Long'

Ahh, when a kiss is not just a simple kiss
it surely can leave you with a feeling of bliss.
Blood starts to warm the head and the toes
exciting your whole body, to the tip of the nose
Time stops! and the surroundings they vanish
only two people even exist, and feeling famished
With lips still together, the eyes set to peek
one's eyes light up, and like glowing lights seek
Cheeks grow a flush and the face does smile
your dearest wish, the sensation to last a while
the lips they part, and smiling eyes they greet
then the lips are gone, for this meeting is fleet
always to remember, even the hour and the day
when a not just a simple kiss, passes your way
