crying out with pain and
joy
with laughter misery is destroyed
lying in that hospital
bed
the visitor you miss read
thought you would have a
moan
instead with jokes, your smile has grown
he cracks you
up, breaking a stitch
an irritation you certainly don't want to
itch
while it's true you're in more pain
the smile is worth
having him back again
