*** Challenge Poem 13 ***
*** Poems ***
by 'Barry R. Long'
I never saw myself as
being a writer of poems but look the challenge to write thirty
poems in one month yet I took subject matter is easy to find,
my life has pathed the way I have hardly read any books, now
they're here to stay poems now circulate round my head, all the
week is this really me composing them, some are even
sweet there is an added bonus, occasionally a lyric to
unwind and to my total surprise some of my poems even rhymed to
have people truly like them, gives a swell to the head still
very much in awe of me being the writer when it's read words
pour out as if from a literary tap flowing away time thought
the tap would slow down, instead it's matching in double rhyme I'm
half way through the challenge and still going strong can't
wait to find out how many of them fit into a song until then I
will keep writing every day as prescribed the outcome and tally
to be scored only time to provide
