*** Skid Lid ***

Feel the wheels a rumble,
as you skate on bye.
How it feels 'free and easy',
on skid-lid on this guy.
You might think it's cool,
to not wear a cap.
But in fact you are a fool,
for that's not where it's at.
The asphalt is unforgiving,
and at best unkind.
Yet yes it's good to ride,
so wear your flipping skid-lid,
and keep your grey stuff inside !!!
