*** Creation ***

by 'Rusty Bourne'

First came hunger then came greed,
now thats something we didn't need.
Soon to come is anger and pain,
followed closely by personal gain.
Next to join in is evil and hate,
with the lack of sense to appreciate.
Rolling on with malice and spite,
shadowed by the struggle between wrong and right.
Noticeably missing guilt and shame.
replaced instead by hurt and blame
Lust and envy a bit slow to appear,
carefully approached with deceit and fear.
Last to arrive mischief and cruelty,
obviously tailed by slavery and maternity.
Apologies received by luck and chance,
along with love and a little romance.
Finally gathered the options were weighted,
together united, thus man was made.
