*** Driftwood ***

by 'Rusty Bourne'

A piece of Driftwood lays in wait,
on a sandy beach, waiting for a special person.
That special person,
who will not see a piece of driftwood, but something more.
So much more that,
that special person will pick up that piece of driftwood,
and take it home.
Home where that special person will clean and care for the driftwood,
helping it to reach its full potential.
Help it to become a work of art....but.....alass....
A piece of driftwood lays in wait, upon a sandy beach,
waiting for a special person,
more sun to bleach.
