*** In Fairy Land ***

by 'Rusty Bourne'

we've all heard stories when we we're kids,
of fairy land places where we all could live
exciting adventures of kings and queens,
the fame, the fortune, the make believe
imagining a land of fun and laughter,
a false giving grip of happily ever after
why tell to inspire and encourage our youth,
this twisted and fancied version of truth
if they only knew life would work out this way,
a whole lot of bills with no money to pay
there's no imagining theres no pretending,
in actual fact there's no happy ending
here is the truth you've heard it before,
nothing is something and don't ask for more
