*** Between the Lines ***

by 'Rusty Bourne'

What I see, I see without my eyes,
I have the foresight of my minds eye.
When I hear,I do so without my ears,
rather I feel the vibration of the sounds.
-and should I touch I do so without the aid of my hands,
but with the association of my emotions.
So it would make sense that when I taste,
I do so without putting anything near my mouth.
Look not too deeply at what is written here,
but read what is written between the lines.
If I were blind I would still see,
or if I were deaf, I could still listen.
Should I lose my arms I may still touch someone
and if I were starving I would still taste life
so if I thought any differently,
then I would surely be someone else.
