*** The Strong and the Weak ***

by 'Rusty Bourne'

Since the first dawns of mans existence
He preyed upon others with alarming persistence
A natural reaction to the hunger and the cold
The weak won't survive, the strong will grow old
No thought is spared for the ill or the needy
First in best fed, works if you're greedy
The clever and the cunning may well stick about
But the strong will hunt them and wipe them out
The lucky or the charmed wont last for ever
The strong won't allow it, they won't live together
The meek and the mild the young and the small
The old and the wary, they'll killed them all
And so it has been for thousands of years
The strong are alive, and the weak disappear
