*** The Thrill ***

by 'Rusty Bourne'

Deep within the subconscious, is a place we try to find,
A secret cache of images, locked inside the mind.
It reminds us of purpose, brings focus to our dreams,
Allowing us to believe, not all is as it seems.
There's plenty of room for learning, encouragement to do well,
A serious sense of compromise, allowing to excel.
Simple states of clarity, brings sight unto the blind,
Releasing all the tensions we try to leave behind.
A breath of instant wisdom, a submission to the will,
A surge of mild excitement exploding into a thrill.
