On this path through hot
summers days and cold winter storms
I walk alone, On a journey
to find “The One” my soul-mate.
I am now ready for
our paths to cross, And for this journey to end.
So I may start
on a new one with you.
We can amble slowly across the hot sand
beach on a summers day,
And hold each other close on a cold
winters evening.
Together at last.
No longer walking two
separate paths through life.
Now walking just one
together.
Hand in hand.
