Dear invisible friend,

Good to finally get to dropping you a line again,
been an exciting time of late,
rewriting the site, and changing server.
The art section will be available in a day or two,
with our first two artists to join the crew.
Plus another, a muralist, shortly after.
Do you like the new Search Station ?
I use it all the time now and find it an awesome resource.
Anyway enough about the site for now,
you will get to see the marvellous additions yourself soon.
Went out for the first time in ages a couple of days ago,
a bit worse for wear the next day, yet well worth the effort.
Got to blow away the cobwebs as it were, it was brilliant.
Looking forward to summer, and getting out and about more.
Seen any good bands of late? You should hear this band “Blue V”
here in New Plymouth, that I heard playing recently, absolutely awesome.
I leave this here for the moment and say bye4now

Dear invisible friend,

Good to finally get back to dropping you a line,
as you might of noticed I'm updating and restructuring the site,
preparing for the official opening of the website.
Quite a task I don't mind saying, and a lot more additions to come yet,
anyway enough about that for now.
How have you been ?, we haven't caught up for a while.
"All the best for today"
It's an amazing afternoon here, the sun pouring through the window,
'feels great to sitting in the sun on a day like this'.
As you probably noticed, Barry aka the doctor, has chosen to release
all his works under his own name. In case you were wondering where
the doctor vanished. could call it the doctor visit I guess.....lol.
Looking forward to getting out and about again,
been a bit crook and stuck at home.
I was listening to the radio last night, 'the most' 93.2 FM, a local
station, when the song 911 came on, nothing quite like hearing it on air.
The lyrics are a bit controversial so I'm curious as to how it is received,
time will tell, just means being patient.
I leave this here for the moment and say bye4now
will write you again

dear invisible friend,

Hi there, How's things ?,
A windy day here and overcast, with even the odd shower.
Hope you are enjoying better !.
Got Barry Long to write another chapter for Tropical Paradise,
the stories shaping up quite nicely.
After writing this to you, I'm going to jump into bed
and watch the giggle box (T.V.), or listen to the radio,
one or the other. It's been a non eventful week,
and in a lot of ways I'm glad it's over. Looking forward to next week though.
Going to be checking into possible T.V..and a newspaper articles
I'll let you know how I get on.
A few more people have gotten back to me about the Spyman software,
with some glowing reports, good to have more people using and enjoying it,
When I track it down, I'll post an article the local newspaper ran on it,
when it was at the careers expo. here in New Plymouth.
Heading off to watch T.V. now.
so bye for now

dear invisible friend,

Hi there, being busy on the site again,
Barry Long has started getting back into his music again,
finished another track for his second cd.
Had a listen to what he's put together so far, and it's sounding great !!
Went to a party on saturday, it was awesome, though it took
all sunday in recovery mode, still, a good night was had by all.
and that's the main thing. Been doing the domestics this morning
(cleaning that is), so I guess I'm fully recovered now. Don't know
whether it's the same with you, but myself, if I'm feeling good,
the house looks good, and if I'm not, the housework doesn't even get a look in.
One of these days I'll get myself another woman,
and who knows, this one might even be domestically inclined...
or perhaps wishful thinking. Certainly the last one
seemed to be allergic to the vacuum cleaner and dish cloths...
hence the wishful thinking bit...
I'll leave it there at the moment, I'll write again soon.
best get back to the grindstone (work)
so bye for now

dear invisible friend,

Hi there, being busy on the site again, Barry Long completed his challenge
to write a new poem a day for a month. Therefore I had to give him yet
another page in the poetry section to fit them all, he has three now.
Must say I'm quite impressed, didn't fully believe he would make it,
yet he did, even did an extra couple as well !!.
Been quite on the visitor front the last couple of days,
just as well too, as I got a little worse for wear the other night
at the karaoke event. The event went very well, I went with a group of
friend's, ten in all, we started the evening with a shot each of tequila.
It was all go after that, and the quality of performances was outstanding,
step aside New Zealand Idol, there's a few more in the running !!.
How's things where you are ?, running smoothly I trust.
Have you thought about sending in one of your works yet ?
Hope so, I'd love to have a read or a listen.
Anyway that's it for the moment, write again soon.
so bye for now

dear invisible friend,

Hello again, a bit slack on writing I know, things have been a bit busy round here,
don't worry I haven't forgotten you.
Got a bit of a house full now as it turns out, it's all good though. Even getting the odd chess games in, and a few card nights. and no...not poker. Getting closer to winter so another blanket came out of the cupboard.
Met an awesome singer the other day, hopefully she'll do a demo song to share with you, she's divine to listen to. Did you get round to having a read of Nos's poems ?, he's going to write another one for us he said, should be good going by the others.
Finally back into my natural rhythms and sleeping well, body clock went haywire for a while. Going to a karaoke night tomorrow, it's the finals, so I'm looking forward to some top performances. If you get to New Plymouth , the show is being held at ' Mad Toms', it will be worth the effort. The dog is sitting here with his front paw held up and looking at me with that 'pity me' expression, so I had better give him a feed.
so bye for now

Dear invisible friend,

How's things ?. Hope everything is going well for you !. Had a buggar of a day myself, a few bills decided to arrive early, the weather was cold and couldn't get warm, and the dog hid the remote. Everything is sweet now though. Finances are sorted and after a bit of the old exercises warmed up quite nicely, and too busy to watch tv tonight anyway. Ended up with a visitor for the week, and doing the sociable thing, as you do, so my schedule got a little behind. It's hard out for the next few days making up for lost time. Thought I'd start by writing to you.
Everyone has disappeared at the moment, the house seems really weird, being so quiet, all good but, and going to enjoy it while it lasts. Stopped into the local with my friend for a farewell lunch, and man I'm still full as, food that is, only had one pint. The flavour of the meal excited the taste buds no-end, and therefore I ate heaps. Had a bacon and chicken pasta dish with a cream sauce....yum ! and a pint of 'Tui', a NZ beer that's brewed right, like the beer brewed the old fashioned way myself, the artificially brewed stuff gives me a hangover before I even stop drinking, ever found that yourself ?.We even managed to slip in a couple of games of '8 pool', after losing twice I decided to call it quits on the game, buggar to play with bent cues....eh?..lol
Got asked for some of my 'solo dad' cooking recipes this week, my home cooked specials were a hit as it turns out. Might even publish them yet....still deciding on that one, I've been asked quite a few times now, so maybe.....are you into cooking ?. Like cooking myself, yet when it's just myself it's not much fun. What I normally do if it's just me is cook enough for four and freeze three single serves for another night, always come in handy, plus it recycles the margarine containers. I must say, having women ask for my recipes, is a real buzz as it were.
Came across some another new talent the other day "Nos" - a rapper muso with an awesome creative gift.- gave him a pencil and paper and he came up with a couple of primo poems. Just the tip of the iceberg, I'm sure looking forward to him writing a few more as well as the odd song or two, down the track. Have a nosey in the poetry section and see what you think. Best start getting back to work, so till the next time, have an awesome day !!! Write again soon...

Dear invisible friend,

I know we haven't spoken before, yet I wanted to say hello. Must admit this seems a little strange, especially not even knowing where on the planet you are or even your name, or for that matter your sex, age or race. As you're reading this I am presuming you're breathing, so there's a good start. Had a solitary day, was supposed to get some visitors but they decided to do a no-show.
I work (if you can it that, as I don't get payed) from home. I run a small internet business called Tardem Studios Ltd. here in New Zealand, that shares talented peoples work with the world via a website. Perhaps you've heard of it, www.tardemstudios.co.nz .
If not you really should have a nosey sometime. It's an awesome business for me as I get to meet some really interesting folk and get to travel around bit. As a bonus I get to read all these unpublished works that are terrific, plus get to hear some awesome muso's and singers. That's what I get up to for work, as I love what I do, I don't consider it work anyway. I wish everyone would start doing what they love and then the whole world would improve no end, with countless happier people in it.
What do you do for a crust ?, hope it's what you like doing and not a drudge.
Had my first holiday a week ago, headed south down to the Wairarapa. I must say it was great !!. It felt really bazaar not having the pc at first, didn't realise how much time I had been spending on it. Liked the holiday that much I ended up staying a few more days than planned, all good but. Did a few things I hadn't done in yonks...visiting museums and parks and stuff, just like a real tourist...lol.
I'll write again tomorrow if that's ok.
