"Pukekura Park, centrally located in New Plymouth,
is truly a spectacle to behold.
with stunning light effects, an extremely diverse array of flora, walkways
botanic gardens and more....and this is only one reason to visit of many.
the fountain(below) looks great during the day
and truly awesome at night
with a 20minute changing
fountain display with multi colour light show"

"While venturing around the lake, in Pukekura Park, here in New Plymouth, I noticed a couple enjoying a romantic row on the lake. It's features like boat-rides that transform a simple visit to the park, into an experience to remember."

"Went for a stroll through 'the fernery' a short while ago, an awesome feature of the park !!.

With it's multi level display array of plants, ferns, flowers'.
Plus a dedicated orchid collection,
it's a 'must stop in' addition to any visit to the park
I regularly stop in for a return visit myself
there's usually something new of interest
